Sep. 21st, 2007 09:51 amThat was the overnight to end all overnights, even though tomorrow's (tonight's) will be the last overnight for at least a month. It was a mother. There was sweat everywhere.
There was nothing fun about it, not even the Girl Talk stretch. It was 11pm yesterday to about an hour ago of doing things that were physically hard to do, such as lifting things and carrying things to other places. Over and over.
One good thing was that Doug brought home-cooked ziti for everyone. Doug is a good guy. Great guy. He's a bear of a man mountain in his mid-60s. Mike told me that Doug was an assassin in Vietnam. He probably killed with kindness, but also bullets or a combat knife. Maybe even his bare hands. I like Doug, we're friends. I'm glad we're on the same side.
Tonight/tomorrow is going to be laborious as well. The things we have to lift are much heavier and you need to climb a ladder to reach them.
My pain hurts. Does Tylenol PM work if you take it in the morning?
