I shot a lot of shots for my movie. I wish I had flipping play back because I have no idea if it's coming out alright. I hope I'm not fucking everything up, which I probably am.

I was reprimanded by the conductors of the 5:26 LIRR train to Penn at the Oceanside train station. Apparently you need a permit to film the train. They explained that it's a security issue, and that if we came back the MTA cops would be waiting. So we mosied out, having held the train up for a minute or two. I still have some fucking shit to shoot of the train. I might go renegade and try to sneak the cam into the train. What are they going to do? Force me to take the film out of the camera? Out of a Bolex camera from like 1784? Because I'm making a short movie for a college course?

But I'm a pussy, so I probably won't do that. Rest assured, MTA, this ain't over. I got a telephoto lens, so maybe I could shoot from afar. Like a schlub.

Security. That's crazy. I want to get a permit, though, and then when they ask me for it, I'll produce it, and they'll be like, "I was hired to punch tickets."

At least they let me keep what I shot. All 20 seconds of Bill waiting for the train and then boarding. It was gold. Hollywood gold. And they'll never take that away.

This is what the title looks like:

Pretentious enough? I have nothing to do now but procrasturbate, in lieu of writing the stem cell paper.
