Dear Maxxx
Nov. 3rd, 2005 06:23 amHere is a picture of me and my friend Andrew Sansone that we took in the Nonsense office for a section called "Satyajit and Sansone Go to the Movies" for the latest issue:

The article, along with the rest of the issue, didn't come out very well. But I like that picture.
Best Buy has been the setting for a lot of my dreams lately. They haven't been nightmares, like when I used to dream about endless lines of demonic customers at Haagen Dazs. It's a cool setting for dreams, I think, because it's a big place to be in and the store is always empty when I dream about it. There isn't much narrative value to these dreams. It's just me, alone in the store, looking around.
I've become such a dull person.
Time was I'd be up all night and my mind would race with awesome thoughts and ideas. Not like that now. It's not just that I need inspiration, it's that I need to feel like I'm needed for someone else's inspiration and that I can deliver. I need a good one-on-one relationship. A teammate. Who's a girl.
I really apologize. This is so dull. And if it hadn't taken me an hour and a half to write what you're reading right now--and delete much worse material--then I wouldn't bother posting this. So if you haven't already read this, don't.
