I've had this thing, so far this summer, where I can't sleep past 12pm, no matter how late I go to sleep. My sleep patterns are nowhere near stable, not by any means. Because I'll wake up at 11:30am one day, and 4am like today. I usually wake up with headaches, too.
Waking up relatively early, that is, before most people have already eaten lunch, has mixed results. For one, you have the whole day, or most of it, in front of you. For the other, however, you're just prolonging the amount of time in which there's nothing much to do.
Yesterday, I started working on my screenplay again. It's been due for over a month and I have an Incomplete in the class. Wouldn't be the first time! But I really took a chunk out of getting the plot settled yesterday. I used index cards. I woke up yesterday with ideas in my head, the first time in months.
Kind of refreshing. But mostly I still want to be happier. And I'd like to not be able to see through my eyelids when I close them and try to sleep.
Adderall is a helluva drug.
