Often I load this update page and stare at the computer monitor with my left pinky cocked on the shift key and wait for pearls of wisdom to find their way into my brain for at least 5 minutes, which doesn't seem so long, until I realize that I have nothing to say, and that I've had nothing to say for the past 5 minutes, and that it's a wonder that I've ever had anything to say before, and that I'll probably never have anything to say for as long as I live. It happens at least once a day; it happened twice today, this being the second time.
And it'll happen tomorrow. That much you can count on.
But for now there's nothing I can tell you that you don't already know. It's cold. It's dreary. It's all the same until something different happens.
